Who is responsible

HostMetrio is published by MicroDev, which is the controller of any personal data processed through this site. Contact: partenariats@hostmetrio.com. See the legal notice for publisher and hosting details.

The short version

• No account, sign-up, newsletter or payment.
• No cookies set by HostMetrio, and no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• Calculator inputs stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
• We do not sell or share personal information.

Calculator inputs and local saves

Calculations run in your browser. Inputs are not posted to a HostMetrio server. Save scenario writes one versioned record to your browser’s localStorage; Delete saved removes it. Moving from one tool to another (for example from the home sample to the full calculator) uses a temporary sessionStorage record that is cleared when it is used. These records stay on your device and are created only when you ask for them. A browser or device administrator may be able to inspect local data, so avoid saving on shared devices. You can also clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Sharing a scenario

The payout worksheet keeps imported records and manual amounts in page memory only. Reset or leave the page to discard them. Copy tool link includes no inputs unless you tick the box that adds them; those values then travel inside the link itself and can be read by anyone you share it with. Do not put personal data or access codes in any field.

What our host processes

Like any website, HostMetrio is delivered by servers that receive technical request data: IP address, browser type, requested page and time. Our host, Cloudflare, Inc., processes this data on our behalf to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not keep our own access logs or combine this data with anything else; Cloudflare applies its own retention limits.

Cloudflare is based in the United States and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including the UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. framework, which covers the transfer of this data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare’s Data Privacy Framework listing.

Cookies and similar technologies

HostMetrio sets no cookies. The only browser storage it uses is the localStorage and sessionStorage described above, created when you ask for a feature and strictly necessary to provide it. Because nothing on the site requires consent, there is no cookie banner. If we ever add optional measurement, it will be explained here first and will respect your choice.

Links to other sites, including affiliate links

Vendor and Amazon links open other websites with their own privacy policies. After you click, those sites and their affiliate networks may set cookies to record that you came from HostMetrio. HostMetrio loads no vendor or Amazon scripts. Some programs may show us limited information about a referred sign-up or purchase, such as its date or plan, under their own terms; we do not use it to identify you. Our referrer policy is no-referrer.

If you email us

We use your email address and message only to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and no longer than three years. Please do not send guest records, property finances or access codes.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can ask to access, correct or erase personal data about you, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in France this is the CNIL. If you are in the United States, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not track visitors across sites, and the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

Children

HostMetrio is meant for adult rental hosts. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security and changes

The site is served over HTTPS and has no accounts to compromise. If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
