Hospitable vs Lodgify: choose by the job.

Guest communication and calendars, or a booking website and its operations? Both cover more than one task. Start with the workflow you need and verify the plan that delivers it.

Public-documentation comparison. No hands-on testing, star ratings or measured performance claims.

Which fits your workflow?

Hospitable
Consider it if guest messaging and calendar coordination are the recurring jobs. Check Essentials for scheduled messages, and verify the plan needed for advanced automation and direct bookings.
Lodgify
Consider it if a booking website is central to your plan. Check Starter for the website and widget, and confirm the plan and total cost if you also need automated messages.

Still to verify: a comparable Lodgify quote, exact lock compatibility, and hands-on reliability and support. If one channel and your current workflow already suffice, keep them.

One task to verify

Preview a booking inquiry rule

Hospitable documents shortcodes in templates and a preview that does not send a guest message. A preview needs an applicable inquiry or reservation.

Screenshot supplied by Hospitable’s public brand kit. The example shows the editor and preview control. Plan access and live sending behavior require a separate check. View the brand kit.

What to try: Use an authorized test reservation to preview the right language and booking stage. Check a changed arrival and a missing detail. Keep the rule off until the rendered text passes.

Without a new subscription: Keep two channel-native replies and an explicit handoff for exceptions if you can maintain them reliably.

One task to verify

Walk through a direct booking before paying

Lodgify documents a bookable website. The price you need to compare depends on the plan, property count, billing term and payment or booking charges.

What to try: Ask for the USD quote and use an authorized demo to review a two-night checkout, the total shown to the guest, a date change and the cancellation workflow. Do not make a live purchase just to test it.

Without a new subscription: Keep platform bookings if you do not yet have a way to attract direct guests or handle payment and cancellation support.

If messaging is your recurring bottleneck

Check native templates and the free/manual path first. Then compare scheduled sends with the advanced automation you need. Hospitable is a documented candidate; verify that your channels and required automation are included.

If direct bookings are your priority

Compare the website editor, booking flow, payment costs and your plan to bring guests to the site. Lodgify is a documented candidate. Hospitable’s Professional plan is another path. A website alone does not establish demand.
